Hyderabad: Tourism and Culture Minister Shri Jupally Krishna Rao held a review meeting with the officials of the Art Gallery, Cultural and Artistic Director’s Organizations at the Art Gallery in Madhapur on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Jupally Krishna Rao said that there is a need to utilize the Art Gallery effectively and instructed the officials to further improve its management. He said that a comprehensive plan should be prepared to bring the Art Gallery to greater prominence.

He directed that exhibitions and events should be organized so that artists and artists can make more use of it and that art lovers, people and tourists visit it more. Speaking about cultural art directors, he ordered that steps be taken to ensure that their salaries are paid on time like government employees. The minister said that it is the duty of the government to respect the services of artists and that special programs and works for sound proofing should be immediately undertaken in the audio-video studio located in the office of the art director, and for this, the services of a consultant expert should be used.
