Famous festivals of the month of Shravan
Many important festivals also fall in this month. Nagula Panchami, Varalakshmi Vratham, Rakhi Pournami, Krishna Ashtami, and Polala Amavasya all occur during this month. Each one has its own special significance. For example, Varalakshmi Vratham is an important festival celebrated by women to please Goddess Lakshmi. Krishna Ashtami is the birthday of Lord Krishna, while Rakhi Pournami is a festival that strengthens the bond between siblings.
