Bandh: Schools and colleges to remain closed in Telangana today – SFA

The Students Federation of India ( SFI ) has called for a bandh today to resolve the issues in the education sector in the state of Telangana . It is demanding the government to immediately bring in a fee regulation law in private and corporate educational institutions. The SFI announced that this bandh has been taken against the commercialization of the education system.

Protest against fee reimbursement and release of scholarships

SFI representatives criticized the government and demanded immediate payment of the fee reimbursement dues to students and a decision on the grant of scholarships. They expressed concern that thousands of students are facing severe difficulties due to the government’s delay in action. They warned that the movement will intensify further if the government does not respond to the problems of the students.

Support for the educational institutions’ strike – information for parents

Some private educational institutions have already responded to this bandh. They have sent messages to the parents of the students and announced a holiday today. Student unions and parents’ associations are likely to support this bandh, with the opinion that the future of the students is in crisis due to the burden of fees. The bandh, called by SFI, will affect schools and colleges across the state.
