
Vijayawada: State Law and Minority Welfare Minister NMD Farooq said that the coalition government is taking extensive steps in a planned manner for the progress of minority communities in the state . Minister Farooq held a review with Minority Department Secretary CH Sridhar and senior officials of various departments at the Minority Ministry’s Peshi Office in the third block of the Velagapudi Secretariat.

Progress of various development works undertaken by the Minority Welfare Department , utilization of funds for completion of construction works of various buildings, utilization of funds received by the state through Pradhan Mantri Virasat Ka Samvardhan, Pradhan Mantri Jan Vikas Programme, National Minorities Development Finance Corporation schemes,For the Hajj 2026 pilgrimageMinister Farooq gave a lengthy review of the progress of the Minority Welfare Department departments on the preventive action plan, protection of Waks assets, measures for development, distribution of self-employment loans through Minority Finance Corporation, etc. Minority Finance Corporation MD Yakub Bhasha, Waks Board CEO Mohammed Ali, Christian Finance Corporation Managers and others explained to the Minister the steps being implemented and taken within their departments. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Farooq said that all arrangements have been made under the leadership of the coalition government for the 1618 pilgrims who left the state for the Haj pilgrimage .
