
Hyderabad: CPI National Secretary Dr. K Narayana said that Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is not doing injustice in the matter of Krishna and Godavari waters. He said that the Panchayat has been going on between the two Telugu states for years. Recently, the Telangana government expressed strong objection to the AP government’s proposal to construct the Godavari Banacherla Project . He said that the central water power has been involved in this dispute and a meeting was held with the CMs of both the states.

Andhra Pradesh, TelanganaNarayana (K Narayana) suggested that the states should build projects without controversy. He said that he welcomes the convening of a central water power meeting in this regard. Narayana spoke to the media in Delhi on Friday. Revanth Reddy said that the main opposition party in Telangana is stirring up sentiments on every issue and has not done injustice to Telangana. He praised Revanth for not doing injustice to Telangana and said that the short one is tough. He suggested that the two states should resolve the issues of water distribution projects. He clarified that his party has always been positive about water projects . He criticized that water issues are being politicized in AP and Telangana. He made comments saying that the sentiments have gone up after TRS became a bit BRAs and now there are no sentiments. He criticized that they are stirring up sentiments on every issue. He said that Chandrababu was wrong for not discussing with Revanth Reddy. Chandrababu should have first talked to the Telangana Chief Minister about Banakacharla. He said that due to not doing so, criticism was received and the Telangana CM opposed the project .
