Stalled work – progress again

The minister reminded that the building was supposed to be completed between 2014-19. But he alleged that the subsequent government had stopped the work. “Now we have called tenders again for the remaining works. We are taking Amaravati towards development by completing the works quickly,” he clarified. The minister criticized that some people are deliberately spreading false propaganda against Amaravati. “YCP leaders are spreading false propaganda by showing water in the Kondaveeti stream. In fact, we have removed the obstacles in the stream. No matter how heavy the rain, water will not stagnate in Amaravati from now on,” he said. He explained that the construction of reservoirs and gravity canals is going on rapidly to prevent floods.

New buildings for employees

The residential complexes being built in Amaravati for government employees will be ready by March next year. The minister said that steps are being taken to complete these projects in the first phase. Minister Narayana clearly said – the first phase of Amaravati will be completed in three years.
