The High Court has granted temporary relief to YSR Congress Party youth leader Chevireddy Mohith Reddy, who is facing trial in the AP liquor scam case . The investigation undertaken by the CIDHigh Court orders no action against himMade clear.

Anticipatory bail petition filed
The High Court heard the anticipatory bail petition filed by Mohith Reddy yesterday. Senior advocate C. Nageswara Rao argued on behalf of the petitioner. He questioned the basis on which Mohith Reddy was made an accused in the case.
Is the testimony of the security personnel the basis?
He sought conditional anticipatory bail, bringing to the notice of the high court that the petitioner was included as an accused based on the statement given by a security guard working for Mohit Reddy’s father, Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy.
Court seeks time from CID
As the court did not have time to hear arguments on behalf of the CID on this petition, Judge Justice T. Mallikarjuna Rao adjourned the hearing to the 16th of this month and directed the CID not to take any hasty action until then.
Temporary relief — but not freedom from the case
It should be clearly noted that this High Court order is only a temporary relief. The charges filed against Mohit Reddy are still under investigation .
