BRS: BRS General Secretary RS Praveen Kumar has made serious allegations that there is a huge conspiracy behind the recommendation for a CBI inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project that will cause damage to Telangana for a hundred years . He made sensational comments that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has a role in this conspiracy. He criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Union Minister Kishan Reddy and MP Bandi Sanjay for spreading a serious propaganda against the project after the Medigadda barrage collapsed.
Poisonous propaganda against the Kaleshwaram project
Praveen Kumar said that the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA) came into the field based on a letter written by Union Minister Kishan Reddy on the Kaleshwaram project . He alleged that Chandrababu Naidu had previously filed cases to block the project, and that conspiracy has now come to light in the form of a CBI investigation. He said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy had threatened that no official should speak in support of the project.
Criticism of PC Ghosh Commission report
Praveen Kumar said that the PC Ghosh Commission prepared its report only on the instructions of Revanth Reddy and it is ridiculous to suggest the recovery of only Rs. 6 crore. He questioned why the commission that conducted the investigation into the Medigadda incident did not interrogate the local Mahadevpur police station house officer. He also severely criticized Sirpur Kagaznagar MLA Palvai Harish Babu. He alleged that he was talking in a delirious manner and that there were doubts about his doctorate.
Demand for CBI inquiry into other projects in Telangana
