On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the father of the first colloquial language movement, Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, the state minister and RTC chairman Konakalla Narayana Rao, garlanded the portrait and paid tributes. Rs. 2600 crore sanctioned for Machilipatnam-Vijayawada six-lane national highway
He said that in the past, efforts were made to construct a four-lane national highway from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada. Similarly, today, he spoke to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari to construct a six-lane national highway from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada. He said that the road was sanctioned at a cost of Rs. 2600 crore. He said that the 45-kilometer railway line extension from Machilipatnam to Repalle has become a reality, and for this, he spoke to the Union Minister 3 months ago and made all efforts and said that action plans are being prepared to complete it in 2 years.

8,500 buses allocated for free bus scheme: RTC Chairman
