
APPSC has given good news to the candidates waiting for government jobs in Andhra Pradesh . There are about 1000 vacancies in various government departments in the state.20 notifications for filling 80 postsCommission Secretary P. Rajababu revealed that it will be released soon.
20 notifications to be released soon
Speaking at a media conference held at the APPSC office in Vijayawada, Rajababu said that since the number of posts is less, they are thinking of combining all the notifications and conducting a single common examination. He said that arrangements are being made to release the notifications by the end of this month.

Clarification on delay in Group-1, Group-2 results
He also clarified the delay in the release of Group-1 and Group-2 results, which thousands of candidates are eagerly waiting for. Rajababu said that the release of the results is being delayed because the final list of sports quota candidates is not yet available from the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP). He assured that the results will be released as soon as the list is received.
Group-2 medical examination details
The medical examination process of the candidates selected in Group-2 examinations is also ongoing. It was stated that the eyesight reports of 1,634 candidates and the hearing test reports of 24 candidates are still awaited. Candidates are advised not to believe the rumours circulating on social media regarding the results.
Arrangements for Forest Department exams complete
APPSC has announced that a screening test will be conducted on September 7 for the recruitment of Forest Beat Officer, Assistant Beat Officer and Forest Section Officer posts. It was revealed that 287 centers have been set up across the state for these tests.
Precautions on OMR sheet
Rajababu warned that candidates should fill the details on the OMR sheet completely and clearly during the exams, as using whitener or erasing the answers will result in the sheets being rejected. He also clarified that one negative mark will be imposed for every three mistakes made in answering the questions incorrectly .
