Vijayawada: A survey conducted by RTGS (Parthasarathi) has revealed that more than 75 percent of the people of the state are satisfied with the welfare schemes and services provided by the government in the state, said State Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Kolusu Parthasarathi. He said that unlike any other state in the country, a survey is being conducted from time to time through RTGS on the pulse of the people, government services and the welfare schemes provided by the government. He said that the reasons for the remaining 25 percent dissatisfaction will be identified and corrective measures will be taken, and the Minister said that the state Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is working with the aim of achieving 100 percent satisfaction level among the people with the coalition rule.

Speaking at a media conference organized at the State Secretariat Publicity Department on Wednesday, Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy said that he was happy to learn that the public satisfaction level was more than 75 percent in the review conducted by CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu on the performance of RTGS . However, the Minister said that he had instructed the respective department heads to work until the satisfaction level reached 100 percent. He said that he had been instructed to find out the reasons for the public dissatisfaction and improve the performance. Minister Parthasarathy said that the CM had instructed to find out whether the reasons for the remaining dissatisfaction were the failure of the officials or the incompetence of the public representatives and take corrective measures. The CM had instructed to ensure that there was no low voltage or power cuts in electricity consumption.

CM Chandrababu aims for 100 percent satisfaction

He said that the survey was conducted by taking the substation as a unit. He said that the coalition government is working tirelessly for the development of the state, and in just one and a half years since the formation of the government (Parthasarathi), investments of over Rs. 7.65 lakh crore have come to the state, thereby creating 7.21 lakh job opportunities in 182 projects. He said that even though the government did not get thousands of crores of revenue due to the free sand policy, it is sacrificing and providing free sand. He also said that the government has focused on solving the problems in housing by knowing the issues in which people are dissatisfied, and housing bills will be paid soon. He said that CM Chandrababu Naidu noted in the review that our state government has made 741 services available as part of WhatsApp governance, but people are not using them to the extent expected. He said that the government is working hard to make these services user-friendly. He said that he is taking the lead in sending messages to the people to alert them about areas prone to lightning and heavy rains during the rainy season. They said that accurate information is being provided even for areas affected by cyclones. They said that the state government is continuously working to make use of technology and make these services useful to the people.

He said that after the formulation of the drone policy, more than 2,10,047 hours of drones have been used in the state. He said that 64,759 hours have been used for government services and 1,45,288 hours for private use. He also explained that more than one and a half lakh hours have been used to spray pesticides in cooking fields. He said that a calculation will be made on the extent of the benefit of spraying pesticides through drones. He asked to take steps to further increase the use of drones. He recalled on this occasion that Prime Minister Modi had praised the drones made in Kurnool for Operation Sindoor, saying that their performance was excellent. In the wake of the public’s demand for sanctioning permanent houses, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu said that 50,000 houses have already been sanctioned in urban areas and the government is ready to sanction more if more applications are received. Minister Parthasarathy asked those without homes to apply online for urban housing by November 5.
