CM Chandrababu’s emotional response on Martyrs’ Day
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister (AP) Nara Chandrababu Naidu participated in a special program held at the APSP Battalion Ground in Mangalagiri to commemorate the Police Martyrs’ Day . He attended the program as the chief guest. At the beginning of the program, the Chief Minister received the salute of the security forces and later paid tributes by offering a floral wreath at the memorial stupa of the martyrs. He opined that the services of the police are very crucial for the protection of the people and the sacrifice of those who sacrifice their lives for the country is memorable.

Development is not possible without peace, Chief Minister clarifies
On this occasion, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu made key remarks. “The development of the state and the invitation of investments depend on peace and security. I will not compromise on crime control under any circumstances,” he clarified. He said that the Andhra Pradesh (AP) Police has emerged as a trusted brand across the country. He said that the police have further enhanced their reputation by fighting rowdyism, Naxalism and factionalism. Speaking about contemporary crimes, he said that cyber crimes and white-collar crimes are increasing. He explained that CCTV cameras are being installed every 55 kilometers. He said that strong action is being taken against the drug, marijuana and red sandalwood mafia. Humanity is needed in policing. At the same time, it should be developed with new infrastructure and technology. Criminals are currently committing intellectual crimes. They need forward-looking strategies, Chandrababu said.
He said that the reason Google came forward to invest in Vizag was the peace and security environment in the state. “Attempts to incite caste and religious hatred, fake campaigns, and crimes under the guise of politics are increasing. People should be vigilant against them,” the CM warned. Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, DGP Harish Kumar Gupta, public representatives, senior police officers, and family members of martyrs were present at the program.
