Breaking News – CM Revanth: CM Revanth’s revolutionary decision on foreign education

The Telangana government has taken another key decision towards social justice and educational equality. The government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has significantly increased the number of beneficiaries under the Foreign Education Scheme. Under this scheme, poor and talented students will get financial assistance to pursue higher education in foreign universities. So far, only a limited number of students from BC, SC and ST communities have been availing this facility. However, the government has now almost doubled this number and provided more opportunities to students.

According to the latest decision, the number of beneficiaries of BC students has been increased from 300 to 700. If students from BC-C and BC-E categories are included, this number will reach 1000. Similarly, the number of SC students has increased from 210 to 500. In the case of ST students too, instead of 100 beneficiaries, 200 will now get foreign education opportunities. This increase will further widen the doors of higher education for socially backward classes. This scheme is giving new hope to students who are losing their dream education opportunities due to poverty.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy termed the decision as an “investment in the future of Telangana”. He said that the main objective of this scheme is to prepare students who can compete at the international level and to showcase Telangana’s talent on the global stage. The government has already taken steps to increase the allocation of funds and make the application process transparent and easy. Officials said that with this decision, students from poor and middle-class families in the state will get an opportunity to showcase their talent on the international educational platform. Overall, this decision taken by the Revanth government is a key step towards “social change through education”.
