The Telangana state government has given the green signal for another ambitious construction project in the capital city of Hyderabad. The government has issued an official order sanctioning Rs. 430 crore for the construction of a new cable bridge over the Meeralam lake in Rajendranagar . This will play a major role in easing traffic in the city.
Construction under the auspices of Musi River Front
This project is being undertaken under the auspices of the Musi Riverfront Development Corporation. This four-lane cable-stayed bridge with a total length of 2.65 km will be constructed using cutting-edge technology. Officials said that it will comply with world-class standards in terms of safety, design and infrastructure. It is reported that the land acquisition process has already begun.
A big relief for ease of travel
If this cable bridge is completed, the traffic pressure in areas like Rajendranagar, Miralam, and Nehrunagar can be significantly reduced. The infrastructure of the city will be further strengthened with other areas. After the project is completed, it will also become a new tourist attraction. This bridge has the potential to become a milestone in the development of the city.
