Telangana Excise Police raids on information from Andhra Police
Huzurnagar (Nalgonda): A gang involved in manufacturing adulterated liquor has been busted in Mellacheruvu mandal of Huzurnagar constituency. Based on information from Andhra Police, the Huzurnagar Excise Police in Telangana region conducted simultaneous raids and arrested a gang involved in manufacturing adulterated liquor in three areas.
Spirit adulterated alcohol
Bottles of adulterated spirit found in an area where adulterated liquor is being made 20 liter cans the way it was seen left the excise police stunned. The police themselves were shocked to see the way this adulterated liquor racket was being run in the Mellacheruvu mandal center, in the mandal limits of Nepala Madaram and Ramapuram villages. Three people working in different liquor shops in the three areas were caught red-handed making adulterated liquor. The adulterated liquor they were making was taken to Andhra Pradesh and was caught by the excise police in Repalle, Guntur district. With this, the people who were found with a full head of hair gave information that they came from Mellacheruvu mandal, and the information was given to the Huzurnagar excise police. With this, the excise police raided Mellacheruvu, Nepala Madaram and Ramapuram villages and arrested the people who were making adulterated liquor. It was found that a person named Shankar in Ramapuram village of Mellacheruvu mandal was manufacturing adulterated liquor in the rice mill of a local person named Nukala Prakash and supplying it to the Andhra region. A large quantity of adulterated liquor was found in the rice mill.
Along with the adulterated liquor, 40 cotton bottles of adulterated liquor and 830 liters of spirit used for making liquor were also found. The police also seized adulterated liquor from the house of Lodangi Naveen in Madaram village of Nepala. It is also reported that adulterated liquor was seized from a person named Nagaraju in Mellacheruvu, the mandal headquarters. It is reported that these three people are also involved in this adulterated liquor racket based on their experience working in various liquor shops. It is reported that along with the adulterated liquor, a car bearing the number AP 07 DJ 6789 was also seized. It is reported that this adulterated liquor is being manufactured in several areas in Huzurnagar as well as in Kodad constituency. It is also known that the excise police are investigating these.

This gang is illegally manufacturing adulterated liquor in various parts of Telangana state. Based on reliable information received from Andhra Pradesh Police, Telangana Excise Police conducted these raids and exposed the gang.
