The army had already prepared a separate fleet for these helicopters. It has started in Jodhpur 15 months ago. Apache AH-64E is considered to be one of the most powerful helicopters in the world. Their consignment is being received at a time when vigilance has been increased on the border after Operation Sindoor . The Indian Army is to get six Apache helicopters from the US. According to sources, after the delivery of the first three helicopters, the remaining three will arrive by the end of this year. The first consignment of Apache was to arrive in June 2024, but due to some difficulties this schedule was postponed.
