Vijayawada: As part of its mission to provide better services to the people through technology, the state government has made drone services available to the common man. In this regard, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu launched the AP Drone Mart portal at the Secretariat on Monday. The portal has been designed by the AP Drone Corporation to provide services through drones in various sectors including agriculture. Through the AP Drone Mart portal, services can be availed in areas such as agriculture, infrastructure, and disaster management through this portal.
Drone Mart services in all districts
Farmers are theirDrones for spraying pesticides in fieldsare being used. Crop monitoring can also be carried out through drones. The government is now providing the opportunity for ordinary farmers to use such services through the portal. Also, services like security and mapping can be carried out through drones using technology and conducting surveys, monitoring with drones in the event of large-scale work . These types of services can now be obtained through Drone Mart. Drone Mart services have been made available in all districts across the state. The Drone Mart portal makes service providers available to those who need drone services. This portal connects government departments, various organizations, and service providers. Customers will have the opportunity to negotiate service charges with service providers. In addition to the services currently available, the Chief Minister suggested that this portal should be developed to provide more services to the people in the future. Chandrababu believes that if drone services are made available at affordable prices for the common man, their popularity will increase. CS Vijayanand, IT Department Secretary Katanneni Bhaskar and others participated in this program .
