Srinivasulu spoke and informed about the drought situation in Rayalaseema districts, details of cultivation of various crops, and irrigation issues through a presentation. He asked that financial assistance be announced for Rayalaseema districts like the Bundelkhand region and necessary support be provided for the development of the region. Here, he specially praised the natural farming methods suggested by District Collector T.S. Chetan. “In natural farming, the cost is less and the profit is more. This will become a model for the country,” the Minister said.

He said that by using modern technology, high profits can be achieved even on less land, which opens up many opportunities for small farmers. The sisters of women’s groups are now becoming self-reliant. Recalling the “Ladli Bahana Yojana” launched by him during his tenure as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, he said that he will give priority to women’s empowerment. On this occasion, a bank linkage cheque of Rs. 437.09 crore was presented to 53,746 SHG members of the joint districts of Puttaparthi and Anantapur. Earlier, a mixed crop cultivated organically in Pedaballi village was inspected. A photo exhibition was also viewed on the crops dried up due to lack of rain.
